Roja is one among those YSRCP MLAs, who was anticipated to get inducted into Jagan’s cabinet of ministers, for the kind of service she offered to the party in the last five years.
But shockingly, Roja’s name was not in the list, for which the actress turned politician was severely hurt and was away from the party activities for quite some time. She even stayed away from the oath taking ceremony of the ministers, which was recently held. Reportedly, Roja even avoided the phone calls of the biggies from YSRCP.
Finally, Vijay Sai Reddy, who recently contacted Roja, convinced her that she is going to get a key position in the party, for which he asked to meet Jagan. Roja then met Jagan in Amaravathi, and during the discussions, the young CM was believed to be said that Roja couldn’t get the ministry, as the allocations were done based on the caste equations.
After speaking to Jagan, the Nagari MLA maintained mum from revealing the details of the meet. Finally, it has been revealed noq that Roja has been appointed as the chairman for APIIC (Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation).
APIIC is a place where the state develops industries, enables their infrastructure. Adding to it, even various SEZs and industrial parks, including IT, Bio-Tech, Automotive, Apparel, Pharma and several others, come under it.
So it should be seen whether Roja delivers her 100%, even in the new segment, just like she did as an MLA.
