Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been facing severe criticisms, for the non availability of sand in the state.
TDP leaders had been going against the state government on the issue and even Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan had already announced public protest in the name of “Chalo Vishakhapatnam” on November 3rd. So unwilling to give any political mileage to the opposition leaders, Jagan responded to the issue now.
There are complaints that the sand in AP is being diverted to Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu states. Even YSRCP MLA Kotamreddy Sreedhar Reddy agreed to it, saying that the diversion of sand is troubling the construction workers of the state.

So taking such complaints into consideration, Jagan strictly ordered the concerned officials not to encourage any such diversions hereafter. Calling it as “Isuka Varothsavam”, Jagan ordered the officials to completely focus on sand for the entire week and make sure that the situations will not repeat.
Hope the young CM puts an end to the sand crisis in the state and thus live to the expectations of the public, who has given his government, a humongous victory in the last assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
