It is known that the 4K Ultra HD DPX Mastered version of Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Pokiri is gearing up for a grand re-release in theatres on August 9th marking the actor’s 47th birthday.
Now, the fans of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan also wish to watch the iconic Jalsa movie of the Gabbar Singh actor on the big screens again.
Director Sai Rajesh, who also backed movies like Hrudayakaleyam, Kobbarimatta and Colour Photo, has now shared an update regarding the Jalsa movie’s DPX Mastered version.
Taking to Twitter, Rajesh said that he spoke to Geetha Arts and revealed that there is no DPX file in the library. “Spoke to @GeethaArts Authorities regarding #Jalsa, they searched in the library and informed me that there is no DPX file, but they are trying their level best to convert HD file into DPX. Will update in a couple of days.”
Sai Rajesh also revealed that Jalsa was shot in negative and it is very hard to convert the file as it was old technology. However, the director said that they are still trying to convert the HD file into DPX.
Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Jalsa was released grandly on 2 April 2008. It was bankrolled by Allu Aravind under the Geetha Arts banner.
