Prabhas is teaming up with director Hanu Raghavapudi for the upcoming film Fauji. The movie recently started its regular shooting in TamilNadu, with key scenes being shot without Prabhas.
It is rumoured to be set between 1941-1945, with Prabhas playing a British Indian soldier. Fans are excited, especially after the release of the concept poster, which grabbed attention.
However, fans are also worried due to the involvement of Bollywood star Mithun Chakraborty in a crucial role. While Mithun is a good star actor in Hindi and Bengali films, his appearances in South Indian movies have not been successful.
Movies like Gopala Gopala, Malupu, and The Villain (kannada) failed to impress the audience despite his powerful roles. Due to this, a “bad sentiment” has developed around Mithun’s roles in the South. Fans hope that this will not affect Fauji, and the filmmakers are confident that this movie will break that sentiment.
