It is known that the YSRC government had proposed the concept of balanced regional development and decentralisation of governance in the state. In order to decentralise capital functions, the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government had come up with Executive Capital at Visakhapatnam, Legislative Capital at Amaravati and Judicial Capital at Kurnool.
However, this decision from the government didn’t go well with the farmers of the Amaravati region, who trusted and gave the lands to the previous TDP government. Since the announcement of three capitals, the farmers have been continuing their protests demanding the state to take back the proposal.
Now, the farmers of the Amaravati region met Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan at the party office in Mangalagiri and complained that CM Jagan has deceived them. They alleged that the government had filed illegal cases on them. On this occasion, Pawan Kalyan assured that Janasena will stand in support of the farmers and do justice to them.
