It is already known that the CID has filed a case and sent a notice to Nara Chandrababu Naidu, regarding the supposed discrepancy in the assigned lands of Amaravati. The CID is also conducting an investigation into this matter, and the CID recently questioned a few farmers belonging to Thadepalli.
Speaking to the CBI, the farmers who attended the probing by the CID said that they told the CID that no one took their lands from them by force and that they gave them away willingly. They also said that they were duly compensated by the TDP government, in return for their lands.
These statements from the farmers going in direct contrast to the statements that the CID has been making. It is now to be seen what will happen, especially given that the AP High Court has given a stay order on the investigation that is being conducted into this matter.
