The cold battle that is happening between the farmers all over the country and the government stays heated as the farmers union rejected the revised amendments proposed by the center. It is that farmers across the country are deeply concerned over the new agricultural laws introduced by the Center.
Following the success of the Bharat Bandh held yesterday, the Center held talks with the farmers proposing some amendments to the laws. Making 5 key amendments, they proposed to the farmers for their approval. If the amendments are acceptable, the concerns sought to be withdrawn
In this context, the farmers’ unions made a sensational statement on the proposals brought by the Center for those amendments. Concerned farmers’ unions in Delhi have said that they are rejecting the proposed amendments of the center and the farmers’ unions have said they are unanimously rejecting the amendments after an intense discussion.
Farmers’ unions have decided to continue their agitation against the new agricultural laws and clarified that their concerns would continue until the new laws were repealed. It was in this context that the leaders of the farmers’ unions announced that they would intensify the protests. Farmers’ unions have called for protests on December 14 in district centers across the country.
Farmers’ union leaders have said they will block the Delhi-Jaipur Delhi-Agra national highway till December 12. Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar met Union Home Minister Amit Shah following the failure of talks with farmers’ unions. The two will discuss the next course of action in the wake of the farmers’ latest decision.
