The COVID vaccine trials are underway from several months and the scientists are striving hard to prove its efficacy, safety and potency. There are several countries that were waiting to launch their vaccine after the completion of the final stage of the clinical trials and though Russia started to administer the vaccines, it hasn’t been clinical.
Recently, a volunteer and student who took the Moderna Vaccine in North Carolina University has shared his experience of COVID vaccine. Jack, who was vaccinated, said that there were side effects. He said he noticed some changes in the body after taking the first vaccine. He said that he was tired and then got fever. It was also revealed that there was pain at the injection site.
However he got corona positive twice after its administration. Fax News reported that he later recovered. However, the fax reported that he did not appear to be ill and the student was told to take the vaccine to save his life. The Morning Star said it was a fact of trouble after taking the vaccine. But he said he did not take the vaccine knowing that a slight pain would cause fever. The clinical trial proved any vaccine would be beneficial and of course at the end of the day, it would save lives.
So, it is quite clear that the vaccine is certainly beneficial but the side effects it is causing are yet a concern. At present the Virus is being treated with the vaccine very easily barring the slightest discomforts for the patients. The Pfizer vaccine is 90 percent effective. There is a chance that Modernna will do the same in the future. Moderna is likely to examine 30,000 people in the final trial. AIIMS Director Randeep Guleria is confident that the people will get the immunity they need by the time the corona vaccine enters the country.
