Something is seriously wrong with Rowdy boys. It is being hit with delay after a delay. Few years back Satamanam Bhavati’s associate director came up with a story Paluke Banagaramayina for Dil Raju’s brother, Sirish’s son Ashish Reddy. Since the film revolved mostly around the heroine, the shrewd producer despite everyone’s green signal at home put the project off and okayed Harsha’s story that is youth centric. Titled Rowdy Boys it is supposed to be an apt subject for the newcomer.
After the delay in okaying and rejecting and then saying yes to Rowdy Boys, there was another gap. Sirish’s father passed away and till one year they did not want to start the project. Once they were ready, Ashish Babu sought more time for learning a few skills to do with acting. That done, they had problem finalizing a heroine.
A new heroine was roped in and shoot began. Unhappy with the newcomer, they replaced her with Anupama Parameswaran. It was supposed to begin in December and now to moved to January and then February. Hardly a week’s shoot took place and the virus hit the country and the industry. Meanwhile the dates of the cinematographer has landed him in a limbo.
He can’t afford to stick to this one film year long, so he has moved onto Ramesh Verma’s film starring Ravi Teja. Don’t know if he will continue to work a few days here and there but if he cannot adjust the dates, cinematographer Madhie is likely to be replaced.
