Former IT minister of India, Ravi Shankar Prasad is one of the 11 union ministers who lost their portfolios in the recent cabinet reshuffle.
Hours before the cabinet rejig, Ravi Shankar resigned the minister post and stepped down from his duties.
Now, the BJP-led central government has given another key post to Ravi Shankar Prasad. He is appointed as the governor of Tamil Nadu.
Ravi Shankar Prasad will soon be taking charge as Tamil Nadu governor. Related orders were passed by the center already.
Apart from Ravi Shankar, Harsh Vardhan Rane(health minister) and Prakash Javadekar were other prominent ministers who lost their portfolios in the recent cabinet reshuffle.
