One of the principal detractors of the OTT platforms is the piracy sites that leak all fresh content on their pirated platforms. Every day, every single show and movie that streams on Netflix and Amazon gets leaked on piracy sites.
However, in the case of Ka, which has premiered on ETV Win recently, the film is safe from pirated sites. No piracy site is able to pirate the film yet and stream it on their platforms.
ETV Win had already announced that they had developed a flagship model to curb piracy and this appears to be in full effect as we are getting to observe now.
It is extremely rare that a film doesn’t arrive on piracy sites a day after the OTT release. But luckily in the case of Ka, the OTT platform, ETV Win has succeeded in safeguarding it.
While giants like Netflix and Amazon are struggling to save their content from Piracy, ETV has paved way now. It has to be seen if these OTT giants will accommodate the new mechanism for their platforms as well now.
