Etela Rajender, the Health Minister of state of Telangana, had been known to make rather shocking statements against the TRS party before the Coronavirus pandemic. It was also widely believed that Etala would be removed from his post, but with the onset of the Coronavirus pandemic, things went to silence for some time.
Now, Etaea is once again making some rather shocking statements against TRS. Recently, in his own constituency, Etela said that there may be parties, and there may be flags, and there may not be any of these, but he will always be in support of the people of the state. This shocked not only the members of the TRS but everyone who was witness to those statements.
Etela also said that the TRS government has only been able to cut down on power cuts in the state, after coming to power, and that it has not been able to achieve anything more substantial. Speaking about the situation of farmers in the state, Etela said that it is sad to see the Chief Minister give in so easily to the farm laws introduced by the Central government when initially he opposed the very same laws. Etela said that if things continued to go on this way, then the farmers of the state would have to suffer even more.
It is widely being speculated that there will be changes in leadership in the TRS party pretty soon, with KTR becoming the Chief Minister of the state looming on the horizon. With Etela having a label that he belongs to the Harish Rao group of loyalists, it is highly unlikely that he will get any post after the changes in the leadership. The TRS has to deal very carefully with Harish and the position that will be given to him, so the position of Etela is a completely different story.
