The ESI scam has created quite a storm in Andhra Pradesh, with the involvement of many former ministers coming to light. Not just ministers, but many others are also involved in the ESI Scam.
A few weeks ago, ex-minister Atchannaidu was arrested as part of the scam, and just yesterday, ex-minister Pithani Satyanarayana’s Personal Secretary Muralimohan for being part of the scam. Muralimohan had applied for an anticipatory bail along with Pithani’s son Suresh, a few days ago. However, both of their bail requests have been put on hold by the High Court.
The ACB is now searching for Pithan Suresh, who has escaped without a trace. Even he is involved in this scam, where medicines and other medical equipment were bought at higher prices than the normal price.
According to the latest reports, Pithani Suresh is in Hyderabad, and the ACB have sent a special team to Hyderabad, to get hold of Suresh. If Suresh is caught, then his father Satyanarayana might also be involved in the picture.
Minister Atchnnaidu had previously told the ACB that they had done all of this after they received orders from the Central Government. He had even produced an official notice, explaining the same. However, this only seemed to have gotten him into more trouble, as his bail has also been rejected by the High Court.
