Magnum opus Baahubali writer Vijayendra Prasad achieved pan-India popularity with his brilliant storylines. One of the highly-anticipated film RRR was also penned by him. The latest reports suggest that Vijayendra Prasad has already prepared a script for the macho hero Rana Daggubati.
Going into the details, the film is reportedly touted to be a historical and spiritual drama and it has been titled as Singanna. This is also a Pan India movie, which will be directed by a Tamil director. Our source reported that the film’s storyline will be based on a great warrior of Lord Venkateswara Swamy’s entourage and Rana Daggubati may be seen in a cooking cane role.
An official confirmation is awaited in this regard. If everything goes well as planned, it will be another most-awaited Pan India film.
On the other hand, Rana will be seen in Virataparvam. Set in the backdrop of the 1990s, the film sheds light on the Naxal movement, specifically the moral dilemma that prevailed during the last decade. Sai Pallavi will be seen as a Naxalite in the movie.
The film has an ensemble cast, including Nandita Das, Zarina Wahab, and Easwari Rao. The film is being bankrolled co-jointly by Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri. Rana is also waiting for the release of his multilingual film Haathi Mere Saathi.
