Well-known film journalist and PRO Eluru Sreenu has officially stepped into film production, marking a new chapter in his long association with the Telugu film industry. After spending more than a decade building strong relationships across Tollywood through journalism and public relations, Sreenu is now turning his passion for cinema into a new creative venture.
Known for his close association with several actors, directors, and producers, Eluru Sreenu has always nurtured the dream of becoming a filmmaker. While directing remains a long-term ambition, his journey has now taken an exciting turn as he makes his debut as a producer.
Under the Varish Studios banner, Eluru Sreenu is jointly producing Production No. 1 along with Pawan Tharigopula. The recently unveiled announcement poster has already generated interest within industry circles.
Having spent years understanding audience preferences, film promotions, and the ingredients behind a successful movie, Eluru Sreenu brings valuable industry experience to his new role. His background as a journalist and PRO has given him deep insight into script selection, marketing strategies, and connecting films with audiences, making his transition into production a natural progression.
Directed by Anand K., the upcoming film carries the powerful tagline, “Mana Vyasaname… Valla Vyaparam!” (Our Addiction… Their Business!) and is set against a courtroom backdrop, promising an engaging story. The project is scheduled to go on floors with a traditional pooja ceremony on July 8.
Although directing continues to be his ultimate goal, Eluru Sreenu has chosen to begin this new phase as a producer with confidence in a story he believes deserves to be told. His decision has been widely appreciated within the industry, with many friends and film personalities extending their best wishes for a successful innings as a producer.
