The election campaigns of Maharashtra and Jharkhand are in the final leg now with the polling have been wrapped up already and the counting underway now.
Coming to the latest trends, NDA is heading towards the 200 mark in Maharashtra and this is a decisive lead for the saffron outfit. They’re overwhelmingly strong in the Maharashtra polls as projected in the exit polls.
As for Jharkhand, the poll trends here are very dissimilar to the trend in Maharashtra.
The INDIA alliance is cleanly sweeping Jharkhand with a mighty lead.
Out of the 81 seats in Jharkhand, the INDIA alliance is winning 50 of them and the trends are clearly in favor of the INDIA bloc here. The trends are largely positive for them here.
As it turned out, Maharashtra has gone with the NDA while Jharkhand is with INDIA.
