The election commission has issued a notice that the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is violating the election code of conduct.
The EC found fault with Naidu, reviewing the projects like Polavaram and CRDA and also conducting the video conference about it. Due to this, Naidu has stopped the home department from reviewing the law and order. The home department secretary Anuradha has explained about the law and order in Andhra Pradesh to Naidu.
Objecting this, the EC said that after the polling, the existing government is not supposed to perform any reviews. Even the opposition parties have found fault with Naidu and opined that as per the EC code, he will have the right to suggest any plans, but cannot review the governmental works at this time.
Aggrieved over this, Naidu strictly went against the EC saying that he has every right to act as the Chief Minister and discharge all his duties, till he gets down from the CM chair. Naidu is in bad terms with the EC, from the time he alleged that it malfunctioned during the recent elections. Since then, he went on going against it and even protested in Delhi demanding for the re-polling in AP elections. But the Election Commission has turned down all his arguments and is now alleging that Naidu is violating the election code.
