In Tollywood, it’s common to see star heroes releasing films during the Dussehra season. However, this year is different as there are no Tier 1 stars competing. Still, the competition is strong with many films lined up.
First, Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan releases on October 10. While expectations are moderate in Telugu, fans hope it surprises like Jailer. Despite being a dubbed film, it will get a good number of theaters.
On October 11, Gopichand’s Vishwam is set to release. Director Sreenu Vaitla, once known for hits, hasn’t had success in a long time, so the film relies heavily on promotions. Sudheer Babu is coming with Maa Nanna Superhero, an emotional family drama backed by UV Creations.
Also on October 11, Dhruva Sarja’s Martin will release in 11 languages, while Alia Bhatt’s Jigra will come in Telugu as a dubbed version. On October 12, Suhas’s Janaka Aithe Ganaka and Tripti Dimri’s Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video will join the race.
