Venkatesh Daggubati wrapped up Drushyam 2 shoot in just 45 days and the film is presently in post production phase. Jeethu Joseph who directed the original Drishyam 2 is helming the remake as well.
As per reports, Suresh Babu who is producing Drushyam 2 wants to release the film directly on OTT. He has already initiated talks with Amazon Prime.
Suresh Babu will be selling the direct to digital rights of Drushyam 2 as soon as he receives a good offer. Given the uncertainty in theatrical business, he does not want to wait for theatres to reopen.
Interestingly enough, Amazon Prime who had released the original version Drishyam 2 are now in talks for the remake version as well.
If things fall into place, Drushyam 2 will be premiering on Amazon Prime very soon.
