Former West Indies all-rounder DJ Bravo created history on Thursday by becoming the first player in T20 cricket to pick up 600 wickets.
Bravo, who is representing Northern Superchargers, scripted the history while playing against Oval Invincibles in the Men’s Hundred 2022 on August 11.
Rilee Rossouw became the CSK all-rounder’s 599th wicket in T20 matches, while he dismissed Sam Curran for his 600th wicket.
Second, on the list is Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan with a total of 466 wickets from 339 matches.
Bravo has taken 78 wickets in 91 matches for West Indies, and the rest of the 522 wickets came when he played for various cricket leagues around the world. The West Indies cricketer is also the leading wicket-taker in the IPL’s history. He took 183 wickets in 161 IPL matches.
