Promotion is everything these days, ahead of a film’s release, as promotions help build the hype surrounding a film and help get the film exposed to different kinds of audiences. Actors are seen promoting a film all the time, on various different platforms, and even other types of promotions, like advertisements on every social media platform, are also done.
Disney Hotstar has now decided on a new course of promotion, though, an interesting one at that, where the streaming giant has suggested KTR to binge-watch the latest season of its web series Parampara. Telangana minister KTR recently slipped and fell and tore his ankle ligament, for which the doctors have advised him to take 3 weeks of rest.
Taking to Twitter, the minister announced the same and even asked his followers to suggest any worthy OTT shows for binge-watching. Disney Hotstar replied to this tweet made by the minister, suggesting Parampara 2. Honestly, though, this is an interesting way of promotion and a new one too. It is now to be seen whether KTR would respond back and if he would take the suggestion and watch the show.
