Appreciating the move of Telangana police, who encountered all the four culprits involved in Disha’s rape and murder, Disha’s family members and even Nirbhaya’s father came forward to express their view on it.
Disha’s father said, “My daughter’s soul must be at peace now.” Even Disha’s sister Bhavya Reddy said that the encounter would set as an example to rapists who attempt such acts. Disha’s family thanked policemen.
Even Nirbhaya’s family members opened up about the Telangana police move. While Nirbhaya’s father supported the move, her mother said that a right justice has been served.

Nirbhaya’s rape has once shaken the nation. The delayed justice in the case has resorted to the anger of many, including family members. But in Disha’s case, an instant justice of this sort is inviting the appreciations from millions across the country.
