As YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is officially going to become the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in a few hours, Mahi V Raghav came up with a few interesting details of Yatra 2.
Mahi already confirmed the sequel for Yatra, right after YSRCP emerged as victorious in AP elections. While the first part has dealt with YS Rajashekar Reddy alone, the director revealed that the second part will be about Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Announcing the same, Mahi tweeted, “YSR’S story is incomplete without Y.S. Raja Reddy & Y.S.Jagan. Yatra 2 will complete their story. The reason why Yatra ended on Y.S. Jagan is we could take it off from where we left. YSR’s Yatra started from his father grave and Jagan’s Yatra from his father’s #yatra2 @ShivaMeka.”
Jagan has followed the footsteps of his father YSR and conducted Padayatra. He could reach a large section of the public, through his Praja Sankalpa Yatra and thus succeeded in getting a thumping victory that a political party in Telugu states, could ever imagine of.
So such journey of Jagan is now being made as a film. While the first part was successful at the box office and also helped the party to get political mileage, the intention behind making Yatra 2 is not known, if not for box office performance.
