The COVID-19 pandemic has done enough damage for the filmmakers so that they are provided with no other choice rather than to ask the heroes to cut off their remuneration. This is the worst outcome for any industry. Already many small and medium budget films have been canceled in their initial stages of shooting and here comes another shock to the TFI.
The producers who are said to be the makers or the breakers of the industry will find it hard to get buyers in the future for their movies during this crisis time. Even top distributors like Dil Raju are going to stay away from buying distribution rights of the upcoming films until normalcy attained.
Dil Raju reportedly decided not to buy the distribution rights of any film in the near future. However, he will release films through his distribution house on profit sharing basis which appears as the win-win situation for many producers in this crisis period.
If every other producer in the industry follows Dil Raju’s policy, there won’t be any Nonrefundable advance (NRA) deals for the upcoming biggies. So, TFI is going to get affected adversely even after the shooting was permitted by the government.
