By now, everyone knows that Thalapathy Vijay has given his consent to work in director Vamsi Paidipally‘s next film. The massive project is being produced by Dil Raju on the banner of Sri Venkateshwara Creations. Notably, this is Vijay’s first straight Telugu film.
It is known that Vijay is a big star in South India, who takes a remuneration in the range of Rs 80 Cr. The latest buzz is that Dil Raju has decided not to disappoint the Bigil actor in terms of pay and offered him a fat paycheck of anywhere between Rs 80 Cr to Rs 90 Cr. Considering his remuneration, the budget of the film may go up to Rs 160 Cr.
Vamsi Paidipally delivered the biggest blockbuster of his career with superstar Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi, which won several awards including National Awards in two categories (Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment and Best Choreography). However, Vamsi’s Oopri and Maharshi couldn’t reach producers’ expectations. It remains to be seen how this film will bring profits to Dil Raju.
