There has been speculations about the film Orey Bujjiga produced by Radha Mohan and directed by Vijay Kumar Konda releasing on some OTT platform but the producer issued a statement and squashed all rumours.
He is totally for a theatrical release, now the social media is active about the release of V for netizens but producer Dil Raju is supposed to have told his colleagues that there will be a theatrical release only.
The film has done business over 38 crores and no where they would recover that amount even if the distributors had to strike a deal with the producer.
The strategy is to wait and watch policy and release it when the time is appropriate, i.e when the lock down is lifted in phases and a collective decision is taken by the Telugu Film Chamber.
The film has Nani playing a negative lead and Sudheer Babu a positive lead, so far two numbers have been released and all promotions put on hold.
Sudheer Babu is positive about the film performing well at the box office, he is being selective and has zeroed in, on a few scripts in this lock down period. He also will have to take Pullela Gopichand’s film ahead which has been stuck on financial grounds. It was actually meant to be a pan Indian film.
