Senior political analyst and observer, Undavalli Arun Kumar has given his verdict on the 3-year regime of the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led government.
“I didn’t expect YS Jagan to fail so very badly. The prices of sand, liquor, petrol and power have been on a steep incline and there is nothing Jagan is able to do about it. The state finances have hit the rock bottom and there is no sign of resurgence whatsoever,” Undavalli opined.
The senior political personality added that he expected Jagan to at least get pass marks as the chief minister but that isn’t happening. He added that the abysmal condition of the state’s finances might result in a deduction in government-funded welfare schemes and other development activities.
