Tamil actor Dhanush is very well known across the country, thanks to his language barrier-defying career, where he has made a name for himself as a highly credible actor in the country. The actor has been plagued by a controversy for the past few years, with a couple from Madhurai claiming that Dhanush is their third son, who ran away when he was young, wanting to be an actor.
Dhanush and his father Kasturi Raja have tried to put an end to this controversy several times but to no avail. They have now put out an official statement saying that the couple would have to pay Rs. 10 Crores as compensation and issue a public apology if they don’t put an end to the story, as they are ready to file a defamation suit against the couple.
For the past few years, the couple has been alleging that Dhanush has been sending them Rs. 65,000 every month since he became an actor. On the other hand, Dhanush is currently busy with director Venky Atluri’s Sir, which is the actor’s first direct Telugu film. The film is being made as a bilingual, and will be shot in Hyderabad and Chennai.
