Film Industry is going through extremely tough conditions, probably the first time in history. We have not seen theaters being shut down, shootings being cancelled for this long time. Its been more than a month and yet there is no clarity on when things will be normal again. Governments are helpless in this case as well.
However though there is no clarity, producers of Telugu Film Industry are making their plans to start shootings from Mid June. A producer said that we are starting to plan shootings from mid June but we are not sure whether that will happen or not.
There are extremely tough conditions and we need to cross this collectively. Post mid June film producer’s council is going to meet Governments of Telugu states to ask for permission of shooting, if not granted by then.
Already daily wage workers are going through harder times as there is no work for them from more than a month. Producers are losing huge money in the form of interests. There are lot of films ready for release and there are some biggies in production like Vakeel Saab, RRR, Acharya, O Dear etc.,
