‘Dear Uma’, with the telugu actress Sumaya Reddy taking on multiple roles as the lead actress, producer, and writer will be released on April 18th. The film stars Prithvi Amber in the male lead. Nagesh serves as the line producer and executive producer is Nithin Sai Chandra Reddy. Sai Rajesh Mahadev has handled the screenplay, dialogues, and direction. The film has cinematography by Raj Thota and music by Radhan. The trailer was launched on April 11.
The story focuses on two characters with different dreams—while the hero wants to become a singer, the heroine aspires to be a doctor. The plot includes their meeting, an unexpected twist, and a deeper look at issues within the medical system. The trailer highlights emotional moments, action scenes, and a socially important message about the healthcare system.
At the trailer launch, Sumaya Reddy shared her excitement, thanking her team and her mother for their support in making the film happen. She described the film as meaningful and expressed her hope that audiences will love it. Prithvi Amber also spoke about the project, calling Dear Uma his first Telugu film and praising Sumaya for her hard work. Music director Radhan shared his excitement about the songs and background score and said they were inspired by the film’s powerful story.
