AP CM YS Jagan has finally decided to re-open the schools in the state after so many obstructions and there has already been mixed response from the parents in Andhra Pradesh over the government’s decision. So, finally, Schools in Andhra Pradesh which have been closed for the last seven months have been reopened from today.
The classes are conducted according to corona rules. It is known that educational institutions across the country have been closed since the lockdown imposed in March. However, it is known that the AP government has given permission to open schools in stages in the wake of the corona outbreak. From today, they held half-day classes one day after the 9 10 11 12 classes. Classes for 6th, 7th, 8th graders will be held from November 23rd.
Education Minister Adimulku Suresh has responded to this issue and said that students are coming to schools and colleges very enthusiastically. The first day revealed nearly 80 percent attendance across the state. He said most of the schools have already developed under the day-to-day program. However, the comments made by Suresh are creating more doubts to the AP people.
There are too many students in the state that are confined themselves to houses on Day1 being unaware of the situation in schools. But, the 80% attendance declared by the minister is really unbelievable and there are no official tracking reports being available as there are a wide range of Government, Private and International schools running in the state and no one is sure whether the Minister mentioned the numbers collectively or categorically.
