They have decided to register cases against those who drive under the influence of alcohol and those who travel in that vehicle. All the people in the vehicle will be sentenced to jail.
The decision was made to prevent the accidents from happening due to drunk and drive.
To this end, the Cyberabad police posted a post on social media. ‘Is your driver, or your friend, driving under the influence of alcohol? Are you in the side seat too?
If caught by the police, you too must go to the jail,’ the post warned. Police made it clear that the same rules apply to everyone.
