Former India cricketer and Chennai Super Kings player Suresh Raina has been called out on social media for his recent remarks in the ongoing Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL).
Raina, who was called upon as a guest to join the commentary, said that he is also a brahmin while also remembering the fact that he has played in Chennai since 2004 when he made his international debut.
Going into details, during the match, one of the commentators asked the ace cricketer about how he has embraced the Chennai culture having played for CSK in the Indian Premier League ever since its inception in 2008. Responding to the question, Raina passed the brahmin comments, which have hurt a few people who called him out on social media.
Meanwhile, Suresh Raina is gearing up for the second leg of the IPL which is most probably likely to begin on September 19 in the UAE. He retired from international cricket last year along with MS Dhoni.
