BJP MP Subramanian Swamy has said that the national capital has now become ‘international shame’ because of failure of the state government in handling the COVID-19 pandemic. As Delhi turned into the most noticeably awful hit city by COVID-19 and surpassed the absolute count of Mumbai, Swamy took a jibe in a circuitous reference at CM Kejriwal and said that he would want to become a disgrace of India. Subramanian Swamy has prior likewise utilized the term ‘Shree 420’ to hit out at the CM.

As per the recent reports, Delhi has today recorded the highest number of covid-19 cases and deaths after Maharashtra. Delhi now witnessed highest number of cases compared to other metropolitan cities. The novel coronavirus cases in Mumbai are at 69,625 and the fatalities stand at 3,962. Chennai has reported 45,814 cases so far, while Kolkata had 4,896 cases till Tuesday. Due to the rising cases, West Bengal now extended lockdown till 31st July.
Couple of days ago, in an attempt to curb COVID-19, MHA Initiated 10000 beds at Radha Swami Beas in Delhi to ITBP, which was recommended by CM Aravind Kejriwal. AAP government also planned a revised COVID plan to have door to door screening in Delhi by July 6th as recommended by Dr. VK Paul committee.
