In India, the lockdown is being implemented with stringent rules and everyone is feared of coming outside their homes. The Police and the uncontrolled spread of the virus are making the people to stay in their homes but the people’s representatives, especially the ruling party MLAs in Andhra Pradesh are roaming freely without any consciousness.
Referring the same, a Public Interest Litigation(PIL) has filed in the Andhra Pradesh High Court by an advocate named Suresh and he requested the court to take actions on some of the legislators of ruling YSRCP who were said to violate the lockdown norms.
Six YSRCP leaders were named in that petition which includes Srikalahasti MLA Biyyapu Madhusudan Reddy, R.K Roja, Kiliveti Sanjeevayya, Venkata Gowda, Vidadala Rajini and Suresh attached some picture related to his claim. He appealed that the above leaders have violated the rules and action should be taken on them.
He alleged that this is a failure in the disaster management by the people’s representatives and these leaders breaking the rules and hitting the roads without no reason will send bad intentions and the legislators have been turning as the potential reason for the spread of the virus.
Many of those listed names have distributed essential goods to the public and some conducted rallies insensibly in their respective constituencies where people gathered in large numbers.
