Director Rajamouli is not only known for his deft of brilliant film making, but also for being a responsible citizen who had been spreading awareness on covid-19 related matters ever since its widespread.
Recently as part of the plasma donation awareness campaign, Rajamouli, Keeravani and family attended the event and shed light on the issue.
They said plasma from the recovered Covid-19 patient’s blood is very essential and insisted every such person to come forward to donate it to the infected covid-19 patients. They also released a song on this ocassion in the presence of commissioner of police to make people aware.
Today Rajamouli shared a pic on Twitter featuring music director Keeravani and his son Bhairava (music composer/singer) who donated plasma and wrote: “Tested for antibodies.. My igG levels are 8.62. They should be above 15 to be able to donate… Peddanna and Bhairava donated today…” (sic), implicitly telling that they both became eligible for donation as they had higher percentage.
He further added in an another tweet to emphasise the importance of plasma donation by saying that the antibodies that develop will stay in our system for a limited period of time only. He appealed to his followers to come forward and become a life saver in these troubled times.
To the unversed, Rajamouli and family contracted corona virus infection recently and and hence became eligible to donate plasma.
