Congress Party has finally reacted to the ongoing issue of irregularities in the valuation of intermediate answer sheets by the inter board of Telangana.
Congress couldn’t use the credit of granting Telangana as a separate state properly, and at the same time, the TRS officials sounded big in convincing the people that the entire credit of bringing Telangana goes to TRS.
It could be the reason for Congress in failing to give a tough competition for TRS during the assembly elections. After a humongous victory of TRS in the TS assembly elections, Chief Minister KCR is also confident of winning all the MP seats and has also expressed it several times after the Lok Sabha elections. However, the actual result will be known only after the announcement of the results.
Meanwhile, Congress seems to awaken from the sleep now and has finally started going against the TS government. A few of the Congress leaders under the leadership of Vijayashanthi have reached out to Collectorate in Warangal district, to protest against the irregularities in the valuation of intermediate answer sheets. The police, however arrested Vijayashanthi and other Congress leaders, who participated in the protest.
Except Janasena, none of the opposition parties went against the TS government, regarding inter results issue. The new party criticized the inter board officials and also alleged that there’s negligence by the TRS government. Janasena demanded for a strict punishment against the officials who are responsible for the irregularities in the inter results.
It seems, Congress has been inspired from Janasena, and of late has started going against Telangana government. While Janasena was about to get the identity as the only party to go against KCR and his government, the Congress timely reaction has brought back the political heat of an opposition party, which was absent for few months. It should be seen whether Congress continues to react on all the hot issues, so that it would gain the lost political mileage and thus concrete the position of the main opposition party in the state.
