Telangana is in a very high-alert state compared to other states in our country after Maharashtra and Kerala as the Covid-19 is spreading in this Telugu state every effectively. Every day, at least half a dozen positive cases are being reported and Chief Minister KCR is arranging press meets very regularly like never before.
The behaviour of KCR is very strange these days and it seems like Covid-19 definitely played a number on ever-confident KCR. In his previous press meets, KCR said that Telanganites need not be feared of this Covid-19 and assured that there won’t be any problem in future.
After an exponential growth in the number of Covid-19 positives, KCR strictly ordered the Police personnel to restrict the spreading of the novel Corona.
Every time he is underestimating the threat without knowing its potentiality. We are not disappointing anyone here but if you observe the exponential growth of Covid-19 positive cases in Telangana in the time period between KCR’s first two press meets, they would be very alarming.
Coming to yesterday’s press meet he said that Telangana would be different by April 7th. Some medical practitioners and health care professionals are asking KCR whether it is a joke.
They opine that the government doesn’t know exact number the potential suspects in the state till now and KCR shouldn’t make such comments that would arise unwanted hopes in the people which will turn into embarassment if his words won’t come true.
KCR also said that 11 patients are being recovered and will be discharged tomorrow. No such comments have been made by any health care official so far in Telangana and there is no hint of any discharge yet.
So KCR needs to present the actual facts to the people and make them aware of the actual threat without making these Over-confident comments which would eventually backfire on him.
