The Andhra Pradesh government has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons, ever since it came to power last year. The major backlash towards the government began after the announcement of the 3 Capital bill, by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, in the Legislative Assembly.
After the announcement of that bill, the AP government went on to make back to back announcements and statements that started to really irk the people of the state of Andhra Pradesh.
As a result, many started to file petitions against the Andhra Pradesh government in the Andhra Pradesh High Court. People who were accused of cases for their comments against the government on social media also started to file continuous petitions against the government.
Some people are also said to have used some derogatory and unparliamentary words against the government, in their petitions, as pointed out by the government’s lawyer.
When the government’s lawyer raised objections to the people of the state using such language against the government, the Judge of the supreme court is said to have reminded the lawyer that the people have the right to file petitions against the government, and question the government misusing their money.
It is also being said that more and more cases are flowing in everyday for the High Court, against the government of Andhra Pradesh. It is now to be seen how the government will actually respond to this – and if it will even respond to it in the first place, or just ignore it like the opinions of the people of the state don’t matter at all.
