Thalapathy Vijay and Atlee’s latest offering sport-drama Whistle released on the eve of Diwali. The film minted extraordinary figures in its three days of its release. But, as per the latest trade reports, given the weekday the film collections dropped on its fourth day when compared to the weekend.
The film collected Rs. 1.2 Crores share on its fourth day. On the whole, Whistle may cross Rs. 10 Crores share in its first week and it will enter the profit zone. The film has already made 75% recovery in Andhra and Telangana states in just four days of its release.
The film is bankrolled by AGS Entertainment and features the grandeur music of AR Rahman, while Nayanthara plays the female protagonist. Whistle also features a star ensemble of Vivekh, Kathir, Yogi Babu, Jackie Shroff, Indhuja and others in key roles.

Meanwhile, Thalapathy Vijay will join hands with Lokesh Kanagaraj, who’s Kaidhi is currently is winning the audiences’ hearts. Produced by XB Film Creators, the film also stars Vijay Sethupathi and has Anirudh composing the music.
