SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR, which was released on March 25, is already shattering box-office records. In its opening weekend, the Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer has reached the Rs 500 Cr mark in the worldwide gross box-office collection. Apparently, the movie became India’s biggest-ever opener with Rs 223 crore worldwide, crossing the record of Baahubali 2.

Besides Jr NTR, Ram Charan, the cast of the epic period action drama includes Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson, Olivia Morris and Shriya Saran.
Set in pre-independence India, the Rajamouli directorial is a fictional take on the younger days of prominent freedom fighters, Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharama Raju, played by Jr. NTR and Ram Charan. The movie was released in five languages – Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam.
