Huzurabad by-election has now become a top priority for all the political parties in Telangana. The decision to give MLC to Padi Kaushik Reddy, a youth leader who recently joined the party, is making the politics here even juicier.
Padi Kaushik Reddy, who left the Congress party on July 21, joined the ruling party in the presence of Chief Minister KCR. On this occasion, the CM announced that he would offer a bright future to the young leader. The decision to finalize the name of Kaushik Reddy as the nominated MLC was taken at the state cabinet meeting held on Sunday. The government referred to Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan for formal approval.
Mr Reddy, who got the post within 10 days of joining the party, has brought new enthusiasm in the Huzurabad constituency. Apparently, it can be seen that KCR is fielding him against BJP’s Etela Rajender in the upcoming Huzurabad by poll. In the 2018 Assembly polls, the young leader unsuccessfully contested on Congress ticket against the then TRS candidate Rajendar.
