Telangana Chief Minister KCR announced that 15 upliftment schemes have been sanctioned in the Nalgonda district. He said all these will be completed in a year and a half.
As a part of his visit to Nagarjuna Sagar constituency, the Chief Minister addressed the public gathering in Halia. He criticised the central government for adopting an anti-Telangana attitude and said he would take steps to prevent any trouble on the Krishna waters in the coming days.
The CM thanked the people for supporting the TRS party in the Nagarjunasagar by-election. He said his visit to the constituency has been delayed due to a Covid-19 infection. KCR announced that Rs 150 crore will be sanctioned for the development of Nagarjunasagar constituency while Halia and Nandikonda will get Rs 15 crore each. Besides these, KCR has also announced a degree college and mini stadium in Halia.
“We are carrying out programs in the state like nowhere else in the country. We will spend at least Rs 1 lakh crore for the Dalit Bandhu scheme and makes sure this will happen without fail,” the CM added.
