It is known that four Rajya Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh will be vacant by the end of this month. The ruling YSRCP will win all four seats, given its strength in the Assembly.
The latest news is that chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is said to have decided four names for the Rajya Sabha polls from Andhra Pradesh.
As per reports, the CM picked the names of sitting MP V Vijayasai Reddy, advocate S Niranjan Reddy, industrialist Beeda Masthan Rao and BC leader from Telangana, R Krishnaiah for the vacant seats in Rajya Sabha.
Reports revealed that Jagan decided the names in a meeting with the party senior leaders Vijayasai Reddy, Y V Subba Reddy and Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy at his residence in Tadepalli on Tuesday morning. An official announcement regarding the same is awaited. The Rajya Sabha election is scheduled to be held on June 10.
