Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan at his residence in Hyderabad on Sunday afternoon. The CM personally enquired about Pawan Kalyan’s health, as he has been suffering from viral fever for the past few days.
During the interaction, Pawan Kalyan explained that while the fever has come down, he is still struggling with continuous cough. Doctors confirmed that the cough is due to chronic bronchitis, which is also causing throat pain. CM Chandrababu Naidu wished Pawan Kalyan a speedy recovery and advised him to take special care of his health.
The Deputy CM also expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for successfully conducting the Mega DSC recruitment drive, which provided 15,941 teacher jobs. He said distributing appointment letters to the selected candidates has inspired confidence and motivation among the youth.
Both leaders also discussed upcoming programs. On October 4, the government will organize an event in Vijayawada under the theme “In Service of Auto Drivers.” CM Naidu highlighted that the Stree Shakti Scheme, which offers free bus travel for women, has been successfully implemented, giving women economic relief. To balance this initiative, the government decided to provide financial support of ₹15,000 each to auto drivers, ensuring that they are not affected by the scheme. The event on October 4 will mark the launch of this program.
They also spoke about the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Andhra Pradesh on October 16. Plans for a road show to create awareness on GST reforms were also discussed as part of the arrangements.
This meeting between CM Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan highlighted the government’s commitment towards public welfare, youth employment, women empowerment, and support for auto drivers.
