Navi Mumbai: With the latest reports of kids and young population being affected by second wave of Covid-19, many NGO’s are attempting to collaborate with vaccine centres to make the Covid vaccine available for all ages.
In this context, the Telugu Kala Samithi in NaviMumbai is jointly organizing a vaccination program on Sunday for those over 8 years of age in association with Cloud9 Hospital. Vaccination jabs was scheduled to held at the Telugu Kala Samithi office in NaviMumbai.
This special vaccination program was set up from 11 am. Cloud9 Hospital has confirmed Rs 1,050 for a single dose vaccine. On behalf of Telugu Kala Samithi, Rs. 250 discount was announced to make it wee bit affordable. All Covid norms are said to have been followed while giving the inoculation.
With the intention of providing vaccine to Telugu youth, Telugu Kala Samithi Hospital paid them Rs. 1,050 per dose and collected only Rs 800/- from the beneficiaries. “We are collecting only Rs 800 and the remaining Rs 250 will be borne by the Telugu Kala Samithi,” said Madireddy Kondareddy, general secretary of the organization, in a statement. All beneficiaries appreciated the good initiative.
