Megastar Chiranjeevi was the first person to call off his film’s shoot even before TFI collectively took a decision to bring the shoots to a grinding halt. He also took the initiation to help the daily wage workers of Telugu Cinema. And Chiru is also the first person to called upon the bigwigs of Telugu Film Industry to meet and discuss the resuming of shootings with the Telangana Government.
But, it looks like Megastar was deeply hurt due to Balayya’s allegations against Chiru & the team. He has now stopped all the activities.
After Telangana Government gave a green signal for film’s shootings, Chiru and his director Koratala Siva reportedly decided to resume the shoot in July. However, now if the latest reports are to be believed, Chiru decided to resume the shoots in August as he was deeply hurt with Balayya’s comments against him.
Earlier he planned to resume Acharya shoot in mid-June. But now, it seems Megastar is not in a mood to start Acharya shoot due to controversies.
Bankrolled jointly by Konidela Productions and Matinee Entertainments, Acharya will hit the screens in 2021. Kajal Aggarwal is the female lead in the film and Manisharma is the music director. Touted to be an action entertainer, the film is set in the backdrop of Srikakulam.
