With biggies like SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ and Prabhas’ ‘Radhe Shyam’ opting-out from the Sankranthi race, a new bunch of Telugu films line up for theatrical release in January. Needless to the postponement of big-budget movies has become a boon to low-budget movies.
Now, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law Kalyaan Dhev has joined the Pongal fight with his second film, Super Machi. The film will be released on the 14th of this month as a festival gift. The film was recently censored and received a U/A certificate.
Helmed by Puli Vasu, Super Machi is produced by Rizwan under his home banner Rizwan Entertainment, whereas the film has music by S Thaman. It stars Kannada actress Rachita Ram as the leading lady. Rajendra Prasad, Naresh, Pragati and Posani Krishna Murali are playing key roles in the film.
The makers said that Super Machi will be super fun to watch together with the family along with the elements that the youth want. It remains to be seen if Kalyaan Dev will succeed with this movie at the box office.
