Republic Day celebrations at Chiranjeevi Blood Bank are held in grand style. Like every year, the flag is hoisted at the venue in the presence of Chiranjeevi. This Republic Day is more special for mega fans and Chiranjeevi hoisted the flag there and spoke about his fans.
Last night, the second highest civilian award in the country, Padma Vibhushan is announced to Chiranjeevi which is already known to us. The people of both Telugu states are expressing their happiness as Chiranjeevi has brought pride to the whole Telugu community.
After hoisting the flag at the blood bank, Chiru addressed his fans. He said that we are here like this today because of the sacrifices of many great people. He said he was happy about the recognition he got for his 45 year movies journey and social services he did along the years. He thanked all the fans, film fraternity and all the people who supported always and added that it’s only possible because of their love towards him.
He said that he was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2006 in recognition of his services on Republic Day and was given Padma Vibhushan this year, which was never expected. He thanked everyone who made this award possible and mentioned special thanks to Center and Prime Minister Modi.
