Covid-19 showed a huge impact on the non-veg sales in AP and Telangana. It is a fact that Telangana is one of the biggest producers of poultry in the nation and as the chicken rate fell sharply after Covid-19, majority of the investors saw huge loses. But now, the sales of chicken raised abruptly and few days back, the rate hit its all time record of Rs.257/kg in Hyderabad.

Today, the rate raised to Rs.290/kg which crossed the previous record and the analysts were saying that the price will further increase, considering the demand and the supply. At the start of Covid-19, rumors raised in the social media that the virus will spread through chicken and staying away from chicken will reduce the risk.

Later on, several big shots in the poultry industry came forward and spoke in the media revealing that there is no relation between the Covid-19 and chicken. In the past one month span, people started buying chicken and the sales are now on full swing.
